New Report says You Should Keep Your House at 78 Degrees
Uh… TF?! What kind of nonsense is this? Do you want me to burn?!
Okay, I get how we should think about energy consumption but this is straight up ridiculous.
There’s a new report out from Energy Star, which is the EPA program that promotes energy efficiency. They have new recommendations for where you should be setting your thermostat. Ready to flip?
- 78 degrees when you’re home.
- 85 when you’re not home.
- 82 at night.
No. Just no. Once a reporter from CBS Tampa tweeted this, the Internet went crazy.
How cool do you keep your house?
