Buddie Of Dem Franchize Boyz Succumbs To Cancer
Buddie of the hip-hop group Dem Franchize Boyz recently succumbed to cancer, according to Dem Franchize Boyz.
On Sunday, the group took to Instagram to announce that the rapper whose given name is Gerald Tiller, had passed.
“R.I.P Buddie you Will be Missed,” was written as the caption of a series of photos of Buddie and Dem Franchize Boyz.

Producer Jermaine Dupri, who signed Dem Franchize Boyz to his label, So So Def, in 2005 also took to Instagram to acknowledge Buddie’s passing.
“They call me Doctor Doc I prescribe what a ni**a need” #ripbuddy may your soul rest easy #demfranchiseboyz. #fuckcancer,” Dupri wrote as his caption, insinuating that Buddie died from cancer.
Dupri also quoted the lyrics of Buddie’s from his verse on Dem Franchize Boyz hit song track “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It.”
Da Brat also took to Instagram to acknowledge Buddie’s death. Dem Franchize Boyz are mostly known for their two hit singles “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” and “I Think They Like Me,” which both came from their debut album, On Top Of Our Game.
