Cheapest Places to Live in Michigan

With housing prices and inflation going up, rent prices are going up, too. So, where are the cheapest places to live in Michigan- areas where you’ll find the lowest rent and housing costs? Whether you want to rent or purchase a house, there are definitely areas of the state that are more affordable than others.

The good news is that no matter where you live in Michigan, the cost of housing in the state comes in much below the national average, according to Rent.com. That’s good news for me, because I’m hoping to buy my first house when the market comes down.
