Eminem Helps Hurricane Irma and Harvey Victims
Eminem announces effort to help Hurricane victims.
Crains Detroit Business is reporting that Eminem and StockX are teaming up to help raise money for victims of both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. The public can now donate $10 or more to the StockX-Eminem Hurricane Relief Fund.
Em, along with the Metro Detroit business, has pledged to match the first $250,000 raised. All proceeds from the campaign will benefit the Greater Houston Community Foundation Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund as well as Team Rubicon.
There’s a really cool bonus if you do donate through Eminem’s effort: each donor get’s a shot at winning one of 17 pairs of exclusive sneakers donated by Mark Whalberg, LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Team Rubicon.
StockX CEO and co-founder Josh Luber said in a statement:
“As we watched the tragic events unfold in Florida and Texas, we wanted to leverage our position as a leading marketplace for luxury consumer goods, to turn luxury items into true necessities…”
