Easter is almost here. Ahead of the holiday, you can enjoy Easter egg hunts, delicious brunches, and Easter bunny photo ops in Metro Detroit.

  • Great Lakes Crossing Easter Bunny Photos at Bunnyville in Auburn Hills

    Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is located at 4000 Baldwin Rd, Auburn Hills. Their events already kicked off and will run through April 8. They are offering photos with Easter bunny. Everyone who visits receives a free gift. Walkups are offered pending availability. Their photo packages start at $39.99. On March 26, they will have their Auburn Hills Adaptive Needs Events, which will be sensory-friendly in partnership with Autism Speaks. More information can be found here.

  • Bass Pro Easter Photos and Events in Auburn Hills

    April 1 through April 9, Bass Pro Shop in Great Lakes Crossing Outlets will offer free photos with the Easter Bunny. A 4×6 photo or 3-photo packages will be available. Reservations are required. More information can be found here.

  • City of Auburn Hills Easter Egg Hunt

    The City of Auburn Hills is hosting an Easter event at the Civic Center Park located at 1827 N Squirrel Rd, Auburn Hills. Children of all ages are invited to hunt for Easter treats, enter the Easter Bonnet contest and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. They will also have an egg toss for adults.   • Kensington Church Easter Bunny Breakfast / Egg Hunt

    Kensington Church Birmingham located at 20500 W 13 Mile Rd., Beverly Hills will host an Easter event following their 10 a.m. mass. Visitors can have a pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny.   • Birmingham First Easter Egg Hunt

    Birmingham First United Methodist Church located at 1589 W Maple Rd, Birmingham will host an Easter event on April 8 at 11:00 a.m. Families will gather on the front lawn for their Easter egg hunt.   • Lake Erie Metropark Easter Egg Scramble

    At Lake Erie Metropark located at 32481 W Jefferson, Brownstown, an Easter egg hunt will take place. Attendees can enjoy crafts, games, and more. All ages are welcome. It costs $4 per child.   • Easter Bunny Visits at Patridge Creek

    The Mall at Partridge Creek located at 17420 Hall Rd, Clinton Twp is offering several Bunny Magic photo experience packages. It includes complete access to all digital images on the digital download portal. The event has started and will run through April 8. Open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. On March 26, the mall will host a sensory-friendly Easter bunny visit.   • Shiawassee Basin Preserve Easter Egg Hunt

    Shiawassee Basin Preserve located at 12000 Davisburg Rd, Davisburg will host an Easter event on April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will have Easter bunny photos and treats on the trail.   • Candyland – The Ultimate Easter Carnival Experience in Detroit

    Enjoy carnival games, carnival rides, a petting zoo, the Easter bunny, live entertainment, food trucks, and more at this free Easter event.     Hudson Mills Metropark, located at 8801 N Territorial Rd, Dexter will have trails illuminated with colorful lights for an Easter egg hunt.   • Egg Hunt Extravaganza Heritage Park in Farmington Hills

    Explore the bunny trail and search for eggs at the Egg Hunt Extravaganza in Farmington Hills. The event will take place at Heritage Park, located at 24725 Farmington Road, Farming Hills. Attendees of all ages can stop at treat stations, play on inflatables, and do egg painting. Admission for residents is $9 and $14 for non-residents.   • Adult Flashlight Egg Hunt in Farmington Hills

    At the Longacre House, 24705 Farmington Rd, Farmington Hills adults can enjoy a pasta dinner followed by games. The event takes place on April 6 and April 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The egg hunt starts once it gets dark. Attendees can redeem eggs for raffle tickets with prizes.     There are five Ferndale parks to choose from at the Ferndale Egg-Stravaganza. Each hunt is FREE and will feature two separate areas for ages 1 to 4 and ages 5 to 12. The first hunt begins at 1 p.m. at Garbuitt Park. Located at the end of Marie Street near Eight Mile and Pincecrest for ages 1 to 4 only. The next egg hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. at Geary Park, located at Pinecrest St north of W Nine Mile Rd. Another egg hunt starts at 2 p.m. at Martin Rd. Park. Located at Lewiston Ave W of Hilton Rd. At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to see the Easter Bunny, sip on hot chocolate, eat s’mores, and purchase baked goods. The event is free and registration isn’t required. It’s hosted by Ferndale Parks & Recreation.

  • Huron Valley Egg Hunt in Highland

    Attendees can join the Easter bunny for photos, face painting, goodie bags, and more. Egg hunt times are divided into different time increments. This event is for ages 2 to 10. It’s sponsored by Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Easter festivities will take place on April 11 at Duck Lake Pines Park 999 S. Duck Lake Road, Highland. Starting at 10 a.m.

  • Canterbury Village Eggstravaganza in Lake Orion

    Canterbury Village located at 2359 Joslyn Ct, Lake Orion will have events on April 1,2,7, and 8 from noon to 5 p.m. They will have Easter activities throughout the afternoon petting zoo, lawn games, and photos with the Easter bunny. Children can collect 10 bunny eggs from the helicopter drop zone and redeem them at shops for prizes. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets cost $7 per attendee.   • Easter Egg Hunt at Children’s Park in Lake Orion

    Children ages 10 and under are invited to hunt for eggs at Children’s Park on S Broadway, downtown Lake Orion. Following the event, attendees can go across the street at the American Legion Hall, 164 S Broadway for pizza. It’s a free event hosted by the Lake Orion American Legion Post 233.

  • Easter Bunny Photos at Laurel Park Place in Livonia

    Weekends now through April 8 Laurel Park Place 37700 Six Mile Rd, Livonia is offering photos with the Easter bunny. Those interested can pre-register on the Laurel Park Place website. Times for Saturdays are 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt in Milford

    This indoor event at Muir Middle School at 425 George St., Milford will offer games, prizes, a craft, and a special visit from the Easter bunny. Pre-registration is required. Entry is $15. This event will take place on April 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Oakwoods Metropark Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt in New Boston

    Oakwoods is hosting an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt. Attendees can walk .75 of a mile on a nature trail in search of hidden eggs.     Enjoy egg hunts, StoryTime, face painting, seed planting, fun costumed characters, food trucks, and more. It’s $5 per car, payable at the gate (cash only). The event is limited to the first 800 children. The event will be at Maybury Farm 50165 Eight Mile Rd, Northville on April 15 starting at 10 a.m.

  • Novi Eggstravaganza

  • RARA Rochester Easter Egg Hunt

    Bring your camera to the Rochester Municipal Park Kiwanas Shelter and take pictures with the Easter bunny. Parents, grandparents and infants under 12 months are free. No reservations are necessary for the free event. children who visit the Easter Bunny will be invited to take part in a free Scavenger Hunt around The Village. Children can pick up their scavenger hunt instructional sheets from the Easter bunny. Guests will try to find bunny shaped graphics in store windows around The Village which will lead them to their destination, where they will pick up a special surprise. The event will take place on March 26 from noon to 6 p.m. Also, April 1, 2, 7, and 8 from noon to 6 p.m. each day.

  • Detroit Zoo Bunnyville

    Catalpa Oaks County Park at 27725 Greenfield Rd, Southfield will host its Great Marshmallow Drop on April 7. Over 15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter. Participants will collect only one marshmallow that can be exchanged for a prize. There are four drop zone groups which include children ages 4 years and younger, children ages 5 to 7, and children ages 8 to 12.     Kiwanis Club of South Lyon  is hosting an Easter event at Volunteer Park at 21620 Dixboro Rd, South Lyon. Over 15,000 filled eggs will be scattered across four fields for all age groups. Attendees can meet firefighters, police officers, and the Easter bunny. The event starts at noon on April 8.

    Join in on Easter festivities at Drake Sports Park, 6801 Drake Dr., West Bloomfield on  April 6 starting at 4:30 p.m. You can bring a basket to collect Easter goodies and a camera to take a picture the Easter bunny.     Children ages 2 to 10 can participate in an egg hunt, crafts, and photos with the Easter bunny at Gilbert Willis Park on April 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Advanced registration is not required.
