Group of children having fun on an Easter Egg Hunt, laughing and shouting, outside in the sun.

It’s that time of year again! Get ready for a hopping good time when the kids take to the lawn for Easter egg hunts! Egg hunts symbolize not only joy but a celebration of springtime and renewal. The egg-citment on children’s faces and the squeals of laughter as they eagerly search for eggs is truly the best part of celebrating Easter with children. It’s always a race against the clock to grab as many of the goodie-filled eggs as possible. What’s not to love about chocolate or prize-filled plastic eggs. Most egg hunts also feature a visit form the Easter Bunny which your kids will either love or hate. Because let’s be honest parents, we’re never really sure how our kids will react to the bunny!

Did you know that easter egg hunts became popular in 18th and 19th centuries here in America? The White House annual South Lawn egg roll dates back to 1898! It brings together families from all over the country to celebrate the holiday with a day full of fun. Kids take to the lawn and rolls their eggs with wooden spoons trying to quickly get to the finish line first.
