Rapper Kash Doll is the cover girl for Galore magazine’s current issue. In the issue titled “Kash Doll Unapologetic,” the Detroit native talks about how being from The Motor City has influenced her sound, her beauty secrets, and her biggest inspirations.
In regards to how being from the city that birthed the legendary Motown sound, Kash Doll said, “the rawness! Listen, the truth is, Detroit has a raw incomparable sound.”
Women’s empowerment and unity is currently a hot topic in the music industry, especially in regard to women rappers. And when it comes to who Kash Doll is inspired by, there’s a long list of women. The “Ice Me Out” rapper said that her biggest inspirations are her mom, her “granny,” her aunts, her friend Sunshine, Gail Perry-Mason, Beyoncé, Aaliyah, Rihanna, J-Lo, and Trina.
When most celebrities are asked what their beauty secrets are they usually list a bunch of luxury brand beauty items, but not Kash Doll. “All I drink is water. I eat healthy. I use makeup cleanser, moisturizer, and exfoliate,” Kash Doll said.
“I workout. I’ll walk 30 minutes on a treadmill with heels on. And, super important, I always make sure I get my rest.”
