Student Fills HIS Clear Backpack With Tampons
Well, that’s one way to make a statement!
A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Florida took it upon himself to fill his new clear backpack with tampons.
After the shooting that killed 17 students last month, all students at the high school can only wear clear backpacks to school — A move many students feel is a violation of privacy.
According to USA Today, Cameron Kasky, a junior at the high school, chose to fill his backpack with tampons.

Starting off the last quarter of senior year right, with a good ol’ violation of privacy! pic.twitter.com/Glf9C14dsq

Others took the opportunity to take a not so subtle jab at the NRA.
My new backpack is almost as transparent as the NRA’s agenda.

I feel sooo safe now.
As much as I appreciate the effort we as a country need to focus on the real issue instead of turning our schools into prisons. #clearbackpacks #MarchForOurLives pic.twitter.com/HqBIeGjzF9
Other students voiced their disapproval, calling the see through back bags the opposite of progress.

Whose side are you on? Do you think clear backpacks make students any safer?
