On Sunday (July 26), Meek Mill took to social media to announce his split from Milano. “Me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents…we still have mad love for each other but we both came to an understanding!” the Philly rapper wrote on Twitter on Sunday. He later deleted the tweet.
Back in May, the former couple welcomed their son, who came into the world on Meek Mill’s 33rd birthday (May 6). “Milano dropped me off a king on my birthday!” Meek Mill said on Twitter of the birth. The rapper also has a 9-year-old son from a previous relationship named Murad Williams aka Papi.
Many of Meek Mill’s fans took to social media to express their feelings about Meek’s split from Milano. A lot of the criticism referenced the fact that Milano chose to keep her and Meek’s relationship private and that Meek “hid” his relationship with her from the world, but decided to make their breakup public.
