As reported, The Oprah Magazine did something they’ve never done in their twenty years: They took Oprah Winfrey off the cover. Instead, the upcoming issue will have Breonna Taylor on it. Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old woman who was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers in her apartment in March. As of today, no officers have been arrested for the crime.

Now Oprah is taking her quest to get justice for Breonna Taylor one step further.

Per O Magazine, the mogul has taken out 26 billboards around Louisville, Kentucky, one for every year Breonna was alive. They read, “Demand that the police involved in the killing of Breonna Taylor be arrested and charged.”  There is also a quote on them from Oprah that says, “If you turn a blind eye to racism, you become an accomplice to it.”

On the billboards is a link to UntilFreedom.com. They are a social justice advocacy group that has focused on the Breonna case.
