Well, school is officially out, so I know you’re trying to keep these kids busy and outta your hair. I know you’re looking for somewhere free to take them to. Catalpa Oak County Park in Southfield is going to be hosting some come-out-and-play events. There’s going to be a zip line, water inflatables, non-water inflatables and a climbing wall. Sounds like a really good time. It’s free and no registration is required but it’s only happening three days this summer. The dates are today, July 21st and August 2nd from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The park is located at Catalpa and Greenfield Roads in Southfield. Go check that out!
Rick Ross Saves Clinic
Rick Ross has stepped up and saved a Fayetteville, Georgia Healthcare Clinic from closing its doors by making a $30,000 donation. Here’s what Rock had to say when he presented the check, “A clinic like this means a lot to me. I lost my father at an early age, and I felt like one of the reasons I lost him so early was because of his, his lack of healthcare. And I look forward to continue to help out as much as possible. I consider you family, friends, and of course neighbors”. They said that this is the largest individual donation that’s ever been made to the clinic. And it’s super critical to the community because it is for low-income residents who are 200% underneath the poverty level. That’s really, really cool.

Well, we told you a few months ago that Raphael Sadiq teased a reunion with Tony! Toni! Tone! It’s the reunion tour everyone has been waiting on. When I used to run concerts and book Tony! Toni! Tone! people would want refunds after the fact because Raphael wasn’t part of the group. Well, those people better get their tickets because it’s happening. This will be their first tour together in 25 years. They’ll be coming to the Fox Theater on October 13th here in Detroit and tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM. In a press release, Rapheal said, “I’ve always wanted to put my family back together. Playing with the Tonys again is a thank you to the fans for supporting all my musical efforts. But the main reason is that my father, Charlie Wiggins, would’ve wanted it this way–to see me, D’Wayne, and Tim playing together again.” That definitely going to be a can’t-miss show at the Fox later this year.
