Royal Oak Taco Fest

The Royal Oak Taco Fest is back. I love me some tacos. It’s going to happen June 30th through July 4th in downtown Royal Oak and they say it’ll be even bigger and better than it was last year. 50 taco trucks and restaurants will be down there plus music, lucha libre wrestling, hot sauce challenge, tequila sampling, a water play area for the kids and so much more. It is $8 in advance and $12 at the gate if it’s not sold out. I do believe it sold out last year. So, you’re going to want to get these in advance. New AI Biggie Song

Timbaland’s dream collaboration is coming to life. And I don’t know how I feel about this. He’s utilized AI because he said he’s always wanted to work with Biggie and he never got a chance to until today. Listen, I like hearing Biggie’s voice and it’s nice to hear him on something different. Although, I don’t know that that beat matches Biggie for me. This is the thing that bothers me… All the people that are pushing this, it’s like everything you do, AI can do. So, actually you’re promoting your replacements. Like, you’re a producer. Guess what? AI’s gonna be able to do that. You’re not going to need Timbaland anymore.

Missy Elliott Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Well, both of my girls are being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! I’m so excited. I’m talking Missy Elliot, who is now officially the first female rapper to ever be inducted, and Chaka Khan. My two favorite artists of all time in the same class! There’s a whole bunch of people being inducted like Willie Nelson and George Michael and The Spinners and more. It actually is a really great class this year. The ceremony takes place in November. I might just show up for that!

Jamie Foxx Speaks Out

Finally, Jamie Foxx, he’s been in the hospital for like three weeks now for something unknown. His family hasn’t disclosed what it is, nor should they have to. But now he has reportedly spoken out since this hospitalization. He posted on his Instagram yesterday, “Appreciate all the love, feeling blessed.” So, I just want to send him well wishes and hopefully he’s on his road to recovery.
