Travis Scott: ‘Hold That Heat’ Has His First Widely Released Verses Since Astroworld
808 Mafia producer Southside, Future, and Travis Scott have collaborated on “Hold That Heat.” This song is the first official Travis Scott single since Astroworld 2021 music festival in Houston that claimed 10 lives due to a crowd surge.
Scott is featured in the music video for the song as he raps holding a crocodile on a chained leash.
This song marks Scott’s second appearance since the tragic event in November. Earlier in 2022, Scott was featured on the Donda 2 song “Pablo,” but the track has not been formally released outside of Kanye West’s Stem Player.
Last year, he released “Durag Activity” with Baby Keem as well as two tracks that arrived just before Astroworld: “Escape Plan” and “Mafia.”
