Jay Rock Enlists Latto & Anderson .Paak For ‘Too Fast (Pull Over)’
Jay Rock recruited Latto and Anderson .Paak for his new song “Too Fast (Pull Over).” The single dropped Friday (July 21) and is the first time all three artists have been on a track together.
In the music video for “Too Fast (Pull Over),” all three artists are enjoying themselves at a lavish pool party.
Jay Rock was previously featured on a remix of Anderson .Paak’s “Lockdown” in 2020, the first time the artists collaborated. This is the first time Anderson .Paak and Latto have worked together.
For Jay Rock, his most recent full-length project was Redemption. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist released the project in 2018.
Anderson .Paak reunited with Knxwledge for the NxWorries’ “Where I Go” and “Daydreaming.” The latter was released this year. He also collaborated with Bruno Mars for An Evening With Silk Sonic in 2021. Mars and .Paak cleaned up at the 2022 Grammy Awards where they won “Song of the Year,” “Record of the Year,” and more for “Leave the Door Open.” The duo decided not to submit music at this year’s award show. His last solo project was Ventura in 2019.
Latto has been on fire this year. She won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2023 BET Awards. “I’m not gon’ cry this year,” she said during her speech, referring to her emotional Best New Artist win last year. “Shout out to God. Shout out to all the other women in the category, all the women who paved the way for this to even be possible.”

She later hit the stage to perform “Put It On Da Floor.”
Latto was also nominated for two Grammy Awards this year. The 777 rapper was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Big Energy (Live)” and Best New Artist.
Her most recent release was her feature on Jungkook’s “Seven.”
