Amtrak Limiting Trains From Detroit to Chicago, Ja Rule Talks Canceled UK Tour & 50 Cent Beef, Sinbad Returns
In today’s Shannon’s Scoop, Amtrak is Limiting Trains From Detroit to Chicago This Summer, Ja Rule Talks to Piers Morgan about his canceled UK Tour and beef with 50 Cent, and Sinbad appears in public via Zoom for the first time since his stroke in 2020!
Amtrak Trains From Detroit to Chicago Limited This Summer

Passengers traveling to Chicago from Detroit this summer may have to plan accordingly, as trains will be limited.
If you’re planning on traveling to Chicago by train, you’ll need to be aware of this: Amtrak service between Detroit and Chicago will be limited this summer.
They’re going to be repairing the railroad tracks, and according to Amtrak, the Wolverine trains 350 and 353 will be suspended on weekdays, Monday through Thursday, from May 6th through October 18th.
That’s a lot. It’s going to stay open on the weekends, but those will probably be very high-priced tickets because they’ll be limited. You know what I mean? So, like I said, they will only run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but they will operate normally on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Get more info on this story here.
Ja Rule Speaks Out About Cancelled Tour & His Feud With 50 Cent

Ja Rule told Piers Morgan he believed he was all set to tour the United Kingdom, but it was canceled at the last minute. He also called his beef with 50 Cent “one-sided.”
Ja Rule’s upcoming UK tour, for which he paid half a million dollars for production costs, is not happening. He was denied entry into the country due to his Criminal record. Of course, 50 Cent, his arch-nemesis, dragged him online.
Well, Ja sat down with Piers Morgan to talk about what happened. He said, “I thought it was a go. I thought everything was fine; I thought the visa was being cleared. And then, at the last minute, I find out it’s not. And you know, it sucks because the people who get hurt the most are the fans. They bought tickets, these venues were 85%, 90% percent sold out.”
Then he was asked about his ongoing feud with 50 Cents, and he told Morgan, “It’s a one-sided thing. You never see me say anything about it. I mind my business, do my business.”
He also said that he was 50 and physically fought before, and Piers was like, “Who won?” Ja said, ‘Come on, it’s me’. I don’t know if I believe that. Do you think Ja Rule beat up 50 Cent? I doubt it. I will say that I’m waiting for a response because 50 does not let anything go. Check out the highlights from Ja Rule’s interview with Piers Morgan below…
Sinbad Makes First Public Appearance After Health Scare

Sinbad speaks with the audience via video conferencing at A Different World HBCU College Tour in Atlanta, Georgia.
You know I love a good story, and thankfully, Sinbad is recovering well from his stroke in 2020. He made his first appearance last week via Zoom at “A Different World” HBCU college tour event at Morehouse College in Atlanta to talk about his character, Coach Walter Oaks, on the show. Of course, everyone lost their minds when he showed up on the screen.
It’s so good to see him doing well and on the road to recovery. Afterward, he posted a video on his IG, saying, “It’s wild that the kids even know who I am. That’s beautiful. Thank you to everybody who’s been praying for me, saying good things, and supporting me during this time in my life. It means a lot to me. Expect to see more of me soon.”
Check out Sinbad’s message to fans and his Zoom appearance discussing his role on “A Different World.”
