Oxford High School Shooter Ethan Crumbley Charged with Murder and Terrorism
Oxford High School Shooting suspect, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley has been charged as an adult on Wednesday. He is being charged with one count of terrorism, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 11 counts of possession of a firearm while committing a felony. The school shooting killed four students and injured seven others, including a teacher.
Tate Myre, 16, Madisyn Baldwin, 17, Hana St. Juliana, 14, and Justin Shilling, 15, were killed.
The arraignment for Crumbley is expected to take place Wednesday afternoon and more charges could be coming as the investigation continues according to Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald. It is believed that the shooting was not impulsive.
Over a hundred 911 calls came through on Tuesday afternoon when Crumbley is believed to have exited a bathroom with a weapon in hand. Deputies took the gun from him and interrupted what would have likely led to more victims. He was arrested without incident and taken to the Children’s Village in Oakland County.
Investigators seized his phone and searched his home which provided more evidence finding several other weapons.
