Meek Mill Arrested After Stunting on Instagram
Think twice before you ‘gram.
In case you needed another reason to be concerned over what you post on social media: Meek Mill was arrested August 17th in New York and charged with reckless endangerment, and his Instagram footage is being used as evidence against him. He’s currently being held at the 34th precinct.
Mill was featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as a performer and was arrested shortly after filming the segment. Video of the arrest shows the arresting officer using the video Mill posted to Instagram of the rapper riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers through the streets of the 34th precinct to charge him with reckless endangerment.
Just goes to prove, you should always think twice before posting a video on social media. Law enforcement has been utilizing social media for years to combat crime and it’s shocking how many people accidentally incriminate themselves through pictures or videos.
