Goodwill of Greater Detroit & Southwest Solutions Hosting Job Fair

Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit and Southwest Solutions are partnering to host a behavioral health job fair. A ton of nonprofits are going to be attending to connect recent graduates with prospective job candidates in the behavioral health field, which is so important because there’s such a lack of mental health advocates. So, anyone actually going to school for this, they have tons of positions available. The job fair is free to attend and it will be held at the Goodwill Industry Center on Grand River, over by Motor City Casino. It will be taking place on July 28th, which is next Friday, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department searched a home in Henderson, Nevada, less than 20 miles from the Las Vegas Strip where Tupac was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1996.

Las Vegas Police Search Home in Connection to Tupac’s Murder

We learned about some potentially big news yesterday regarding the unsolved murder case of Tupac Shakur. Las Vegas police executed a search warrant at a home in connection with Tupac’s 1996 murder. That’s insane. Almost 30 years later! The night Tupac was shot and killed, he got into like a fight with this guy, Orlando Anderson, at a casino and then later in the evening he was gunned down. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department haven’t said whose house it is or what they found. I think they were searching computers, laptops, and certain articles about Tupac’s death. Presumably, people who’ve committed crimes end up trying to keep track of the case and stuff. They had to have enough evidence already in order to get the warrant. So, hopefully we do see some progress in the case because it’s insane to me that Pac and Biggie’s killers are still out there after all these years.

Timbaland & Nelly Furtado Are Together Again in The Studio

I was excited to see this yesterday and looking at the comments on Timbaland’s Instagram, fans were too. He posted a video of him and Nelly Furtado and the caption said, “I’m cooking”. So, it looks like the pair are collabing again. It’s been over 15-years since they did “Promiscuous” and “Maneater”, and those were big hits for her. It’ll be interesting to see if it sounds similar to back then, or if she’ll have a different sound. Hopefully we’ll be hearing something new soon!
