Detroit Lions fans will be getting downtown early for Sunday’s game. If the temperatures are too cold for you outside, there are plenty of places opening early.
Warm Places to Tailgate For Sunday’s Detroit Lions Game
It’s a huge game on Sunday. I cannot wait, honestly. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming to town and the Buc’s are Mean Jean’s team. But like he said, he wins either way because he’s a fan of both since he’s living here in The D now. Anyway, it’s going to be cold so if you need somewhere warm to tailgate, there’s a ton of bars downtown that are opening up early that you can go to include Tin Roof and One Mike Detroit. That’s Mike Epps place and they had their grand opening Thursday night. The game does start at 3:00 PM, so, you gotta make your way down there. Super Bowl Pre-Game Performers Announced
Speaking of football, we’re less than a month away from the Super Bowl. And we know Usher is doing the halftime show, which is a huge deal. Yesterday they announced who will be performing before the game. Reba McEntire is going to be singing the “Star Spangled Banner” and Post Malone is going to perform “America The Beautiful”. It’s gonna be interesting to hear him singing that song. I can kind of hear it in my head, but it’s still a very interesting selection.
Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is struggling with medical issues after having a stroke. She’s only 24.

It really bothered me to see this yesterday. Prayers for Snoop Dogg’s daughter and their family. She’s only 24-years old. She does have a history of lupus and apparently she suffered a stroke yesterday. She posted a picture from her hospital room and she said, “I had a severe stroke this AM. I started breaking down crying when they told me. Like, I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this?” She was diagnosed with lupus when she was 6-years old and that comes with a whole host of issues and challenges. So, I don’t know if those two conditions were related, but that sucks. Hopefully she’ll be okay.
