The Halloween franchise isn’t a wrap just yet, as the sequel to the 2018 reboot is set for an Oct. 16, 2020 release.

According to Collider, Blumhouse sources say that Halloween 2 will begin filming after Labor Day. Jamie Lee Curtis, who portrayed Laurie Strode in the original and the reboot is “all but assured to return,” according to the outlet. Joining her will be her daughter and granddaughter, played by Judy Greer and Andi Matichak respectively, although talent deals have yet to be confirmed.

The 2018 Halloween brought in $255 million worldwide at the box office, by far surpassing the $10 million production budget they had to work with. Given its popularity and success, it’s likely that the upcoming sequel will equal or surpass that total.
