Details on the Bar and Restaurant Shut Down!

Following suit with Ohio and Illinois, Governor Whitmer issuing Executive Order 2020-9 that will go into effect today (Monday, March 16th) at 3pm closing bars and restaurants.  Carry out and delivery services will still be available.  The order is effective through March 30th.

The establishments included in the closures are as follows….

Restaurants, Cafes, Coffee Houses, Bars, Taverns, Brewpubs, Distilleries, Clubs, Movie Theaters, Indoor and Outdoor Performance Venues, Gymnasiums, Fitness Centers, Recereation Centers, Indoor Sports facilities, Indoor Exercise facilities, Exercise studios, Spas and Casinos.

Michigan bars, restaurants, gyms, theaters ordered to close by 3 p.m. due to coronavirus

CLOSE Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's order also applies to gyms, spas, theaters and other public spaces, through at least March 30 LANSING - Michigan bars and restaurants, as well as gyms, spas, theaters and other public spaces, will be ordered closed starting at 3 p.m.
