No Soul Glo Darryl In “Coming To America” Sequel
One popular character from the original Coming To America won’t be returning for the sequel.
Eriq La Salle, who played Soul Glo Jheri Curl empire heir and Lisa’s boyfriend Darryl, will not appear. In real life, La Salle is busy executive producing and sometimes directing episodes of Chicago P.D.
A lot of the original cast is coming back for the sequel including Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, John Amos, Shari Headley, and James Earl Jones.
