Mark Wahlberg Teaming Up with Feldman Automotive To Donate Tablets ot Beaumont Patients
Once again Mark Wahlberg is stepping up in a big way to help Detroit. He previously provided lunch, through his restaurant Wahlburgers, to workers at Royal Oak Beaumont. Now he is teaming up with Feldman Automotive to provide tablets to patients at Beaumont so that they can communicate with their families.
“It’s just a natural thing to be able to give, if we’re in a position to, but to really give thanks to all the brave men and women who are working there,” Wahlberg says.
“I’ve had some of the most moving and inspiring experiences of my adult life, especially as a parent and a husband, meeting some amazing families there, meeting amazing men and women who have dedicated their lives to helping people,” he says.
President of Feldman Automotive, Jay Feldman, adding…“I just seen everybody on TV talking about how their loved ones are in the hospital and they can’t be with them and you know when you’re in the hospital, you’re in the emergency room, you want to be surrounded by somebody, you want your family to be with you,” he says. “The last thing you want is to be alone.
The Wahlberg Youth foundation and the Feldman Automotive Group will donate 1,100 tablets to Beaumont Health Systems.
