How Starbucks Helped One TikToker Realize She Had Covid!

Starbucks is usually pretty helpful in giving people some midday pick me ups. For one TikToker, Starbucks did more than just give a caffeine rush.

Maryn Short had gone to Starbucks to pick up a new drink that was supposed to be “super sweet.” When she couldn’t taste it, and knowing that lack of taste and smell are symptoms of Covid, she became concerned.

Describing her taste test for the drink, Short said, “‘This has no flavor.’ And then I took a second sip and … I was like ‘Wait a second. Do I have COVID?'”

Short got tested and self-isolated and is now on the mend.
