Lori Harvey Supposedly Responds To Future’s Lyrics About Her
Though exes Lori Harvey and Future are in new relationships, that hasn’t stopped Future from rapping about her in a song called “Maybach” by 42 Dugg.
Future says in the song that dropped last month, “Magic City, I’m the owner/ Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want her/ One thing I never seen was a b—h that leave/ Every time I crank the car, I don’t use a key.”
As we earlier reported, 24-year-old Harvey is the stepdaughter of Family Feud host Steve Harvey. Steve said of her boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan, “I like him. I’m pulling for him.”
When it comes to Lori’s relationship with the Black Panther star, they talk about what they choose to show the world, as they’re both “very private people naturally,” she told in an interview with Bustle. “We know there are people that love and support us and want to see us,” she says. “So [we want to] give just enough, but keep the majority of it just for us. We’re trying to find a balance.”
In the interview, Harvey addressed the Future lyrics that had her name trending on Twitter, “I think they get from me that I try to just not let any type of negativity or rumors or anything like that make me stoop down to that level and go back and forth with it or whatever. Just maintain my position of I know who I am, I know what’s going on,” she said. “I just try to stay up here and take the high road in every situation. So I think that would probably be what they get from me, because I am private, so I like to just give enough.”
Last May, Future dropped his song “Accepting My Flaws” and sung a different tune about Harvey, “Sittin’ out on my porch, I’m in disbelief/ Give me glory, give me Lori, that’s victory/ I’m gonna drop your name, is it chemistry?/ F— this money and fame if it’s meant to be” Future is currently in a relationship with Dess Dior, and he has six children, one of them from ex-fiance Ciara.
