Cardi B Gets Invited To Slain Model’s Memorial
Cardi B came to the defense of “Miss Mercedes Morr,” whose real name is Jenae Gagnier, after learning that the model was recently killed in her Texas home in an apparent murder-suicide, per NBC. Hollywood Unlocked, reports that Cardi B defended the model Wednesday, “So sad f— you b—— and n—– trying to justify it cause of her lifestyle. Ya will hate on a bad b—- dead or alive. She was a sweetheart.” Gagnier’s mother was so grateful for Cardi that she invited her to the memorial service.
The late model’s mother, Jeanetta Grover, told TMZ that she and the rest of Mercedes’ family is thankful for the rapper taking the time to bring the attention back onto Mercedes and not her alleged murderer.
The “WAP” rapper defended Mercedes online after some people were trying to blame Mercedes for her own death.
Grover told the outlet that her daughter was a huge fan of Cardi but there is no pressure for the Grammy-winner to attend the memorial service because she knows the rapper is a “busy woman.”
