Wendy Williams Hospitalized For Psychiatric Evaluation

Wendy Williams has been taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation after it was announced that the new season of her show would be delayed due to COVID issues, TMZ reported.

Sources close to Wendy tell the outlet that the talk show host voluntarily admitted herself to an NYC hospital Tuesday for a psych evaluation. The source says that Wendy has previously struggled with mental health issues.

On top of admitting herself into the hospital, Wendy recently revealed that she tested positive for COVID per TMZ. Last week on her Instagram account her producers posted that she was dealing with “ongoing health issues.”

The premiere of the 13th season of The Wendy Williams Show will now be scheduled to air on Oct. 4 instead of its original Sept. 20 airdate.
