Nas & 21 Savage Share New Single ‘One Mic, One Gun’
Nas and 21 Savage have seemingly decided to let go of their recent beef. The two dropped “One Mic, One Gun” Tuesday (Nov. 29) which arrives about two weeks after the Her Loss rapper dismissed the King’s Disease rapper’s relevancy.
21 participated in a Clubhouse discussion where he found himself in a heated debate when he stated, “What y’all saying, relevant though? I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got fans.”
The ATL native added, “He’s not relevant, he just has a loyal a– fan base. He just has a loyal fan base and he still make good-a– music.”
Nas fans quickly attacked the rapper as did Nas’ brother Jungle hopped in The Shaderoom’s comments section and wrote, “21 Savage is trash. Glad Nas dropped KD3 so fans can hear real bars. 21 can you do something for me? (laughing emojis),” in reference to the viral line from 21 and Drake’s “Rich Flex.”
21 swiftly called out the internet for twisting his words, “I would never disrespect Nas or any legend who paved the way for me,” he tweeted. “Y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it.”
Nas seemingly responded to 21’s comment when he posted a fresh set of Instagram photos with the caption reading, “[laughing emoji] LOVE.”

Now that it seems as though that is all water under the bridge. Fans of both 21 and Nas can now enjoy “One Mic, One Gun.” The New York native posted the single’s cover art with a lengthy caption Tuesday night.
“Nas x @21savage TONIGHT,” Nas wrote. “Only way we moving is with love, respect and unity. The foundational principles of hip hop. Excited to collaborate with my young brother and I hope more artist use turbulent moments and turn them into a time to make new art. That’s what it’s about.”

The title of the track combines mentions from both rapper’s discography. “One Mic, One Gun” stems from Nas’ 2001 Stillmatic single “One Mic,” as well as 21’s verse from 2018’s “asmr” where he rapped, “I just need one Glock, Nas need one mic.”
