Drake, Questlove & More React To Death Of ‘Euphoria’ Star Angus Cloud
Celebrities have been offering their condolences to Angus Cloud’s family after the announcement of his passing Monday (July 31). According to TMZ, the 25-year-old actor who was known for his role as Fezco, a soft-spoken drug dealer on HBO’s Euphoria, died in his family home in Oakland, CA. His cause of death is unknown at the time of this writing.
His family wrote a statement to the outlet, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
The statement continued, “Last week, he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss,” they concluded.

A source close to the family told the outlet that Cloud was battling with severe suicidal thoughts after getting back from Ireland, where they laid his father to rest. The actor was staying with his family for support during the difficult time.
Drake, who is the executive producer for Euphoria, posted a photo of Cloud on his Instagram Story Monday captioning the photo, “good soul.”

“Fez was the spiritual center of Euphoria and definitely my fav character on the show. Love to his entire family and to those who knew him. #AngusCloud,” Questlove captioned a photo of Cloud on Instagram.
Chlöe Bailey also tweeted her condolences to Cloud, ” wow angus cloud gone too soon.. rest in peace angel.”
Police told TMZ an investigation has started into his death. They suspect that there has been no foul play.
