Beyoncé Shares New Song ‘Nine Four Eight One’ Honoring LGBTQ+ Icons
Ahead of her Renaissance birthday show, Beyoncé released a new song titled “Nine Four Eight One.” While it’s not an official release, the tribute was made on Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment’s Instagram page hours before her Los Angeles show. The song is by Kevin Aviance, Kevin JZ Prodigy, and TS Madison.
“Miss Tina, Miss Tina, what can we say,” the Beyoncé tribute starts off praising her mom Tina Knowles. “You gave birth to her on this day / The magic that we all have seen / Made many of us happy, baby / Everything we see is pure.”
The EDM track gets some spicy adlibs from Madison (who appeared on the Renaissance track “Cozy”) towards the end, “They say Yonce all on his mouth like liquor / She still all on his mouth like liquor/ You know why? / She’s Beyonce, bitch / Beyonce is not to be compared to any other bitch.”

The line “Yonce all on his mouth like liquor” is an ode to Beyoncé’s 2013 song “Partition” from her self-titled album.
Beyoncé had a special night celebrating her 42nd birthday on Monday (Sept. 4). She closed out her Los Angeles tour stops but before she left, she surprised fans with bringing out Kendrick Lamar on stage. The two performed their “America Has A Problem” remix for the first time since it was released in June. According to fan videos, a technical issue prevented Kendrick from fully performing as his mic didn’t seem to work.

After Beyoncé surprised fans, she was then caught off guard when Diana Ross went on stage to sing “Happy Birthday” to her along with the audience.
