Diddy Allegedly Dangled Wale Over Balcony For Working With Cassie
While Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and Sean “Diddy” Combs settled the lawsuit filed by Ventura, more alleged incidents are coming to light. According to Shy Glizzy’s bodyguard, Ant Glizzy claims that the Bad Boy Records founder dangled Wale from a balcony after learning that he was working with Cassie then.
Ant Glizzy says he saw the alleged altercation between Wale and Diddy. However, he claims he heard noises from behind a curtain where Diddy, Diddy’s security, and Wale were.
“I swear to God, [there’s] a balcony in the studio,” he explained per HotNewHipHop. “They got Wale over top his face, hanging out the balcony. I can’t really hear with they saying. We knew it was him because we knew what kind of shoes he wore to the studio.”
Wale and Diddy have not responded to Ant Glizzy’s accusations.
Cassie & Diddy ‘Amicably’ Settle Sexual Assault Lawsuit
On Friday (Nov. 17), it was announced that Cassie and Diddy had settled the sexual abuse lawsuit. In a statement per TMZ, Ventura stated: “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Diddy stated: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
The details behind their settlement have not been disclosed.
Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, also released a statement that the rapper deciding to settle is not an admission of guilt.
“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” Brafman said. “Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
Cassie Files Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Diddy
Last week, Cassie announced that she filed a sexual assault lawsuit against the rap mogul after alleged years of abuse in their relationship. The “Me And U” singer and Diddy had an on-and-off-again relationship for 11 years. During the end of their relationship, which dissolved in 2018, she claims that he forced himself into her home and raped her.
“After years in silence and darkness,” Ms. Ventura said in a statement, per The New York Times, “I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, responded to Ventura’s claims in her suit. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail,” Brafman wrote.
He added: “Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”
