Beyoncé Claps Back At Bleaching Comments In New Photos
Beyoncé’s latest Instagram post seemingly called out the rumors that she bleached her skin prior to the premiere of Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé. The singer wore a silver dress and bleached blonde hair to the premiere. Due to the lighting of the photo, Beyoncé’s skin looked lighter than usual which prompted people on social media to conspire if the megastar bleached her skin.

In a new Instagram post shared to the social platform on Thursday (Nov. 30), the multi-hyphenate entertainer shut down the noise with a subtle clapback. She wore all white as she stood next to her husband, Jay-Z, posed for some solo shots of her casual outfit and gave trolls something to cry about with a close-up selfie of her complexion. Fans took note of Beyoncé’s response in the comment section.
“It’s the close up of the brown skin for me!” one fan wrote.
“Beyoncé got a smart a– mouth & don’t even say shit. Her actions will cuss you out every time,” another fan wrote.
“Her wearing all white was NOT a coincidence,” another fan responded adding that Beyoncé is “mad funny.”
Another fan also noticed the subtle shade, “That close up is for the haters. Siri, play Brown Skin Girl'”

Prior to Beyoncé’s latest Instagram post, her mother, Tina Knowles, shut down the rumor in a lengthy message on the social media platform.
“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,” Tina wrote in the caption of a montage of clips of Beyoncé over the years with “Brown Skin Girl” across. The wording is a direct message to the controversy at hand and a nod to Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning song.
She continued: “She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin? .. How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. . ALIEN Superstar duh! What’s really sad is that a white woman had the audacity to reach out to Neal, Beyonces hairstylist, she was from TMZ to say that the fans are saying that she wants to be white and she wanted to get a statement about it from Neal. . Well that made, my blood boil , that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness.”
“I am sick and tired of people attacking her,” she added in part. “Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her. , I am sick of you losers. I know that she is going to be pissed at me for doing this, but I am fed up ! This girl minds her own business. She helps people whenever she can. She lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times.”

Donald Glover's Swarm "Shade"?

Some fans were convinced that Beyoncé shaded Donald Glover’s Amazon Prime series Swarm when she was performing the Renaissance track “America Has a Problem.” She shouts to the crowd, “Swarm on these hands, n—-!”
The series, which features Dominique Fishback and her mentee Chlöe Bailey, is about the extreme fandom and how it leads Fishback’s character (Andrea) to commit violent acts due to an obsession with a pop star (who seems to resemble Beyoncé). The series came out shortly before Beyoncé hit the road.
However, it could also just be a coincidence that Beyoncé used the word “swarm” and did not call out the series since she is dressed in a bee-inspired stage costume. The “shade” was never addressed by either party publicly.

Beyoncé is known for her visual albums and it is no secret that the Beyhive has wanted a visual component alongside Beyoncé’s Renaissance. However, we’ve never gotten a direct response until now. During her Kentucky tour stop in July, she gave fans an answer. The singer responded, “You are the visuals baby” in a now-viral clip.
