Nick Cannon Confirms Baby No. 8 With Model Bre Tiesi
Nick Cannon has a baby on the way!
Rumors swirled about the possibility that Cannon could be the father to Brie Tiesi’s first child when he appeared at the gender reveal held in Malibu, California on Saturday. The host revealed that he is the father on Monday’s (Jan. 31) episode of The Nick Cannon Show.

The Masked Singer host is the dad to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey; 4-year-old Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old Powerful Queen, whom he shares with Brittany Bell; and 7-month-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, whom he shares with Abby De La Rosa.
Cannon is also the father to son Zen with Alyssa Scott who died on Dec. 5 after being diagnosed with brain cancer last year.
The comedian revealed on The Nick Cannon Show that he wanted to be respectful of Alyssa which is why he and Tiesi decided to keep the pregnancy under wraps.
“I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough — she held off making our announcements and speaking on social media,” Cannon said per PEOPLE. “She’s a very, you know, in the public eye type of person, but keeps her stuff private as well.”
Cannon added: “And it was just one of those things like, you know, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off. Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasn’t planned to talk about it. We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened. We here and I’m with my family I get to discuss it, I get to be open.”
During the gender reveal, Cannon and Tiesi celebrated their baby with close friends and family on a beach in Malibu, California. To announce the gender of their unborn baby, the pair and those who attended, popped open confetti cannons revealing that instantly covered the venue in blue signifying that they will be expecting a boy.
