After Blue’s performance Friday night (May 26) Beyoncé penned a heartfelt message to her daughter. “My beautiful first born I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama,” the Renaissance creator wrote alongside video snippets of Blue’s performance. “You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”
Blue’s grandmother, Tina Knowles Lawson, also took the time to give a shoutout to her granddaughter on her performance dubbing her the “coolest” and “most confident 11-year-old she knows.
“Last Night !! Blue Ivy performed in the front of a huge audience!! And yes I am a proud grandma,” Tina wrote. “I am truly amazed by the courage that this brave , talented , beautiful 11-year-old exhibited last night! There were almost 70,000 people in that audience. She danced with professional dancers, grown folks , she did complicated choreography and moves that they rehearsed for months ! She rehearsed and learned this in a little over a week . She was so smooth with it! Has such a smooth swag (reminds me of the great Aaliyah) So cool with it! She is the coolest most confident 11-year-old I know!!!!

Blue has joined her mom several times on stage. Most recently, it was at Beyoncé’s performance earlier this year at the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai.
She even joined Bey for her 2022 Oscars performance at the Tragniew Park tennis courts in Compton, California. Beyoncé was nominated for “Be Alive” from King Richard in the Best Orignal Song category.
Back in 2021, Beyoncé told Harper’s Bazaar how she wants to spend her 40s with her family who have been supporting her throughout the Renaissance World Tour.
“My wish is for my 40s to be fun and full of freedom,” she said. “I want to feel the same freedom I feel on stage every day of my life. I want to explore aspects of myself I haven’t had time to discover and to enjoy my husband and my children. I want to travel without working. I want this next decade to be about celebration, joy, and giving and receiving love. I want to give all the love I have to the people who love me back.”
Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour runs through September 27.
