Cardi B Returns With ‘Like What,’ Releases Raunchy Offset-Directed Music Video
Cardi B is back. The Bronx native returned with a fiery new freestyle “Like What.” The song samples Missy Elliott‘s 1999 classic “She’s A Bitch.”
In addition to the song, Cardi also dropped the music video which is directed by her ex Offset. In the video, Cardi is walking around and catching a tan in a gorgeous mansion. In the first scene, the rapper is wearing a black bikini and long grey and black fur coat. She then goes outside to lounge by the pool with the same black bikini as she enjoys sushi while she rocks her black shades. Back inside, Cardi completely changes her look as she now is rocking an all-white fit. The rapper wears a silver bikini top, silver oversized pants with cutouts, a bleach-blonde wig, and rhinestone eyebrows. In another fit, she is wearing the same look that is on the artwork of the single, which includes pink eyebrows, matching pink lashes, and contacts.

Cardi B Explains Why She Hasn’t Dropped Her New Album
Cardi has been open about not dropping music with her fans despite the pleas for her sophomore album.
“When it comes to music and everything, I just be feeling like I don’t be liking anything,” she said back in December 2022 on Instagram Live. “I feel like I got so many songs and I don’t like anything. I feel like nothing is good enough… And I got so much money saved up I just be like, ‘Yeah, whatever the f—.'”
She added that the pressure from everyone commenting on what she does also plays a role, although she has decided to block it out and keep going.
“I used to love making music, but now, making music to me has become like a job that gives me anxiety,” Cardi B says in the video. “Everybody just critiques everything that I do, that it’s just like…you know, sometimes you just don’t want to do something that may give you that much anxiety. So I just be like, “Uh!” — freezing myself but I have to let that go. I have to release more music — I have to go out there.”
