Jeezy Accused of Domestic Abuse & Child Neglect
On Shannon’s Scoop this morning we talked about some crazy allegations coming out from Jeannie Mai about Jeezy in their divorce case.
First of all, I can say this is all allegedly, supposedly, allegedly. This is just what’s being reported. Court documents that were obtained reveal that allegedly, supposedly there was a history of domestic violence in their relationship and child neglect allegedly at the hands of Jeezy.
Incidents of Alleged Abuse Were Documented
There were claims of 3 or 4 incidents of physical abuse against Jeannie. One of the incidents was at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco in 2022. These incidents of assaults were shared at the time with their therapist, pastor and close friend. Details alleged that Jeezy choked her from behind as she was going up the stairs and he pushed her down the steps.
That Ritz Carlton incident caught the attention of hotel security stationed in the lobby, and records show that the rapper proceeded to verbally assault her, calling her names and repeating, “I can do so much better than you.” Security ended up intervening and provided her with protection that she needed after she said that she felt unsafe.

Other incidents detail verbal and physical abuse, one at the Atlanta Mayor’s Masked Ball, and then again in Miami. In that incident, it’s being reported that they were in the car talking and apparently he punched her with a closed fist.
Like I said, these are alleged, not necessarily fact. However, the incident at the hotel has an actual incident report from security from that day. So this isn’t just her allegations, this stuff was witnessed by other people.
There is Concern For Their Young Daughter
The report also said there were concerns for the couple’s 2-year-old daughter’s safety because apparently he was leaving shotguns and stuff laying around where she would have access to it and didn’t have it locked up.
Also, there’s pictures of injuries in her report, but I think this is where it’s getting muddied, because those injuries are from a golf cart incident in which he was supposedly drunk and driving and putting them at risk. There are reportedly some text messages going back and forth about that. But those pictures are not of physical abuse.

Jeezy took to Instagram yesterday and said, “Y’all know me. The allegations are not only false, but they’re so deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I love. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It’s disheartening to witness the deceit and manipulation at play, and at this time, my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”
We will have to see what happens as this case progresses through the courts. But I think everyone’s pretty shocked by all of this. You can read more below.
