Costco Coming to Southfield
My daughter loves this store, and I might have to get a membership now. Costco is coming to Southfield at the site of the old, iconic Northland Mall. This is a big deal. It’s actually going to be an anchor store. They’re going to be building like, housing and retail and a bunch of restaurants around the area. So, that’s awesome for development in the area. This has been an on-and-off-again project, but it’s actually moving forward now. They said it should be open in December and if not, then early 2024.Ludacris Gets Hollywood Star
Well, Ludacris has finally joined only a handful of rappers to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That happened yesterday and here’s what he had to say at the ceremony, “Two decades and counting of building a brand and a legacy. And you guys are looking at my current village. You know, they say ‘less is more’. And I love my current village right now because it is so strong. Less is so much more. And today, I’m getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s mind blowing to me. Luda also talked about a small circle, some people that showed up for him as well. Queen Latifah, Vin Diesel and Tyrese and and his accountants. And it’s just in time for the release of the supposed final Fast and Furious movie which drops today.

We’ve been telling you about this car show with Rick Ross, right? He’s having it on June 3rd in Fayetteville, Georiga and there’s been push-back from neighbors in the city. Well, Rick has some advice for his neighbors. In an Instagram video he said, “You know what we did to the financial literacy of the community? These Airbnbs going through the roof. It’s going to be more gas sold on June 3rd than y’all sold in six months. Y’all gotta think of the financial literacy that Rozay bringing to the table. It ain’t too late to print your signs. The closer you are to the Promise Land, charge ’em $100 a parking spot. The further you are, charge ’em $50. Come on y’all. Y’all wanna make some money or not?.” I don’t know that financial “literacy” is the word he wanted to use. Rick Ross is so funny to me. I’m telling you; he’s going to be like a goldmine of soundbites until that car show. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
