Buddy’s Pizza Comes to Big House and Michigan Games
Michigan football, basketball, and hockey fans are in for a treat this fall. You’ll spot something new on the concession stand menu as you cheer for the Wolverines at the Big House, Crisler Center, or Yost Ice Arena. Buddy’s Pizza is now in the game, offering slices at these venues. The details of the agreement haven’t been publicly disclosed, but this five-year deal extends till the 2027-2028 season’s end.
Fans can choose between Buddy’s signature four-square pepperoni or classic cheese pizzas. These pizzas, priced at $15 each, will be packaged in “Go Blue” boxes. Also, with every pizza purchase, you’ll receive a $4 off coupon code for a future visit to any of Buddy’s Pizza’s numerous locations.
Wolverine fans excited to have Buddy’s Pizza at games
When Buddy’s shared the news on their social media, many people flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. One person expressed how they’re not a huge U of M fan but how it’s a great business move. “They have incredibly loyal fan base across the country,” he wrote. “That stadium is packed just about every game the size of the big house means big money.”
77 years ago, Buddy’s Pizza started at the crossroads of 6 Mile and Conant Street. Today, it has 22 locations across Michigan, offering dine-in and carry-out choices. The core of Buddy’s Pizza lies in its unique method of using deep, dark pans once used for auto parts to bake pizzas. This, along with its assembly process, embodies the essence of Detroit-style pizza. Remarkable features include the caramelized cheese crust and the distinct sauce placement on the pie.
For Ann Arbor residents, the complete Buddy’s Pizza dine-in experience awaits at their full-service restaurant located at 3153 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.
10 Hottest College Quarterbacks: Ranked
This is a big week for college football, so of course in doing my research into the matchups, I looked at the important stuff.Namely, the 10 hottest college quarterbacks.
When it comes to college ball, I don’t have as strong a preference for a team as I do for the NFL (Go Bears!), but I love it. I went to the University of Iowa, so I do have a soft spot for the Hawkeyes. Their games and their tailgates were such a blast, and when I was in Iowa City, I never missed a game. My neighbors growing up are huge Illini fans so every Saturday they’d set up a big screen with a projector and all the houses nearby would get together and grill out and watch football.
I’m excited for this weekend when the competition heats up and the bowl games begin. Here’s the schedule for this Friday and Saturday. You can find the full schedule here
Friday, December 16:
- Bahamas Bowl: Miami (Ohio) vs. UAB 11:30am ET
- Cure Bowl: Troy vs. UTSA 3pm
Saturday, December 17:
- Fenway Bowl: Cincinnati vs. Louisville 11am
- Celebration Bowl: Jackson State vs. N.C. Central 12pm
- Las Vegas Bowl: Oregon State vs. Florida 2:30pm
- LA Bowl: Washington State vs. Fresno State 3:30pm
- LendingTree Bowl: Rice vs. Southern Mississippi 5:45pm
- New Mexico Bowl: SMU vs. BYU 7:30pm
- Frisco Bowl: Boise State vs. North Texas 9:15pm
Not only are these guys studs on the field, but some of the QB’s are real lookers. Ladies, even if the games aren’t of interest, maybe the hotties will be.
Here’s my list of the 10 Hottest College Quarterbacks:
