Ford’s $2M Scholarship, Jamie Foxx’s Stand-Up Return & NSYNC Reunion on Justin Timberlake’s Album
Catch the latest with Shannon’s Scoop: Ford invests $2 million in scholarships for future auto technicians amid industry demand. Jamie Foxx plays a stand-up return discussing his health scare, and NSYNC reunites for a track on Justin Timberlake’s new album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” set for a March 15 release. Stay tuned for Timberlake’s rumored NPR Tiny Desk performance.
Ford Looks To Invest in Future Technicians
The Ford Motor Company is saying that there will be a need for almost half a million auto technicians by 2027. So, they are looking to fund $ 2 million in scholarships to help people become auto technicians. Their investment in this fund includes all attendance costs, including tuition tools, living expenses, and transportation. It will be awarded to current or future students enrolled in post-secondary auto programs. Very cool. Click here for more info and apply for a scholarship.
Jamie Foxx to Return to Stand-Up & Talk About His Recent Illness
As we all know, Jamie Foxx had a significant health scare, about which we still don’t have all the details. There have been so many rumors flying around about what happened. Well, I guess he’s ready to tell his story.
Jamie was at the African American Film Critics Association Awards over the weekend, where he accepted the “Producer’s Award.” During his acceptance speech, he said he was returning to his stand-up roots and would do a show called “What Happened Was.” He also joked about all the rumors people were saying about him, including the one about him being a clone. I can’t wait.
I’m looking forward to hearing his story.
NYSNC Will Be Featured on Justin Timberlake’s New Album
There were rumors of an NSYNC reunion last year when they got together to release that song for the soundtrack of the Trolls movie. Justin Timberlake revealed his track list for his new album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” including a feature from N’SYNC.
I know all my girlfriends are probably going crazy over that. Yesterday, there was an enormous Spotify billboard in L.A. promoting it. His former bandmates are on the track “Paradise,” and the album is set to be released on March 15. Here’s a picture of the billboard with the track listing from Justin’s Instagram.
In other Justin news, it was rumored that he’ll be doing an NPR Tiny Desk Performance, and now someone who works for NPR confirmed it. It will probably coincide with the release of his album, so we’ll have to look out for a date for that one. I can’t wait to hear which of his classics he performs. Here’s more info about the Tiny Desk concert.
