Sculptures Displayed in Downtown Detroit Ahead of NFL Draft, Diddy Raided by Federal Agents
In today’s Shannon’s Scoop, new sculptures of football cleats displayed in Downtown Detroit ahead of the NFL Draft next month, Diddy’s homes raided by Federal Law Enforcement, and what 50 Cent, Al B. Sure and Uncle Luke said in response to the Diddy news!
Tragedy in Baltimore
A cargo ship is shown after running into and collapsing the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland.
Before we get into the Scoop, I definitely want to send my thoughts along to the people of Baltimore. If you’re unaware, at about 1:30 this morning, a cargo ship ran into the Francis Scott Key Bridge causing it to collapse.
They said they’re in the midst of managing a mass casualty incident. There are reports that there were about 20 individuals who may have been in the river as well as multiple vehicles. I hope that everyone is able to be rescued and is safe and, my thoughts are definitely with them. You can find updates on the situation as they happen at this link.
Football Cleat Sculptures on Display Downtown
Sculptures of football cleats by local artists are on display in Downtown Detroit ahead of the NFL Draft.
As you know, the NFL Draft is coming in just a couple of weeks and they’re going to have tons of cool stuff downtown, including 20 massive cleat sculptures that will be displayed across Detroit, all painted by local artists.
They’re set to be auctioned off online starting the first week of April, and the auctions will close post draft. The proceeds are going to benefit charities that the artists have chosen themselves.
You can check out those sculptures at places like Motor City Casino Hotel, DMC Children’s Hospital, Ford Field and a whole bunch of other spots. They look pretty cool and it’s definitely a big event for the City of Detroit. Read more at this link.
Federal Agents Raid Diddy’s Homes, Handcuff His Sons
An investigation by several law enforcement agencies led to a raid on two of Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
This was was big news yesterday. As you know, several lawsuits have been brought against Diddy with allegations of sexual assault, rape, and human trafficking.
Both of his homes in Los Angeles and Miami were searched yesterday by federal agents with Homeland Security investigators and other law enforcement agencies.
Diddy’s sons were handcuffed on the property while Diddy was at the Miami airport. Supposedly, he was trying to fly out of the country with his daughters for spring break. But some are claiming that he was trying to fly somewhere that doesn’t have any extradition charges.

50 Cent, Al B. Sure & Uncle Luke Respond to Diddy News
50 Cent never lets an opportunity go by to throw some shade Diddy’s way. After yesterdays raids, he hopped right on social media.
Of course, 50 Cent did not let the opportunity pass. He posted, “Now it’s not Diddy do it, it’s Diddy done they don’t come like that unless they got a case.”
Then, Al B. Sure, who went into a coma a couple of years ago with multiple illnesses, has alluded to the fact that he believes Diddy was the cause. Al said he believes that Diddy had something to do with Kim Porter, who is both of their exes, and her death because she was writing a tell-all book. He posted audio yesterday that explained his doctor said he was in perfect health until he wasn’t and that people should ‘do the math’.
We all know that Uncle Luke is from Miami, and he was recently on the We In Miami podcast and was asked if he ever went to Diddy’s parties. Luke said, “No, not really. I go to the party and leave early. I don’t know what goes on after hours, but I wasn’t trying to find out.” I don’t think anyone’s going to admit to being at Diddy’s parties right about now, do you?
Luke did go on to say that he feels bad for Diddy’s kids having to go through this. I feel bad for them too. I hope that he finds a way to keep them out of this moving forward because it had to be a shock for them yesterday with agents arriving and putting them in handcuffs.
We’ll have to see what comes with this. Like I said before, there is always somebody, who’s maybe even naïve, that comes out and says ‘oh, this could never happen based on their character’, but that hasn’t happened once in this case. There has not been one single person other than Floyd Mayweather, who really has no room to talk, that’s come out and defended Diddy and said he couldn’t possibly do the things he’s been accused of. We’ll have to see what comes of it.
