Andre 3000 Stopping in Detroit on Upcoming Tour
As mentioned in today’s Shannon’s Scoop, Andre 3000 is coming back to Detroit!
Today, I want to share something that has me both excited and a little bummed. Earlier this year, I missed seeing Andre 3000 at his unique flute shows here in Detroit, which took place in February at a few venues around Detroit. The performance was described as an experience, like a sound bath meditation. According to a review in the Metro Times, “the best way to enjoy the show was with your eyes closed, allowing the music to guide you into a state of stillness”. It sounds like exactly what I need in my life right now. Maybe you do too?
Andre 3000 Returning to Detroit
However, there’s good news! Andre 3000 is now embarking on a full tour for his flute album “New Blue Sun“. The tour kicks off in New Orleans in September, and I’m thrilled to share that he’ll be performing in Detroit at the Masonic Cathedral Theater for an all-ages show on October 22nd, which is the day after my birthday! It’s definitely going on my birthday wish list. Tickets go on-sale this Friday at 10am here.
