A local DJ has a great opportunity for middle and high school students. They can learn the art of spinning music for free.
Detroit DJ Giving Kids Free Classes
This is so cool. There’s a local DJ, DJ Jungle 313, who’s going to be offering free classes to middle school and high school students, teaching them the art scratching, all about vinyl and music production software. He hopes that this will not only give kids a way out, but a way up. The 4 week program will be offered to 10 students between the grades of 6 and 12. The classes are set to begin next month.
I have a DJ rig that was like one of my, you know, stupid ADHD purchases. Someone was getting rid of it and I bought it. But it was really old equipment and weighed a ton. It ended up in the trash. So, my career as “DJ Shenanigans” never took off.
Anyway, this would be a great opportunity for kids. Especially with summer coming and all that. Wendy Williams fans weren’t happy with the way she was portrayed in Lifetime’s 2-part documentary.
Fans Upset Over Wendy Williams Documentary
The Wendy Williams Lifetime docuseries aired this weekend and it had the internet talking. It was revealed that she was diagnosed with dementia and aphasia and that she’s been struggling with deteriorating mental health, poor memory and ability to communicate, and alcoholism.
It’s a very sad situation to see. A lot of people were disappointed in the documentary because they didn’t think she should’ve been shown in this light. I saw someone said, ‘I want to know who signed off on this documentary and who’s making money from it. Wendy did thank everyone for their love. She issued a statement that said, “I want to say I have immense gratitude for the love and kind words I have received after sharing my diagnosis of Aphasia and Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Let me say, wow! Your response has been overwhelming. The messages shared with me have touched me, reminding me of the power of unity and the need for compassion. I hope that others with FTD may benefit from my story.”
Busta Rhymes had an incident with an aspiring rapper in New York this weekend.
Busta Rhymes and Cam Newton Each Get Into Weekend Brawls
Well, there were some celebs getting into fights over the weekend.
Apparently, Busta Rhymes was arguing with this aspiring rapper from Staten Island named Nizzle Man at French Montana’s album release party in New York City. Busta appears to get in his face and Nizzle falls down the stairs and then Busta grabs his wrist to confront him about something. It looks like they’re arguing and then the guy is escorted out.

Cam Newton fought off three attackers at a youth football tournament in Atlanta.
That’s not all. Cam Newton appears to have gotten involved in a massive brawl at a 7-on-7 youth of football tournament in Atlanta. Video from the incident shows him fighting off attackers as multiple people try to take him down. Again, Cam Newton is jacked. No thanks. You can’t just be physically attracted to your partner. You have to actually like them as a person, too, and enjoy their company. You have to be friends, too.

There's a lack of respect
This is a big one. Bestlifeonline.com notes that, “…if one partner has a blatant disrespect for the other’s life choices, neither partner will ever feel comfortable talking about their day, let alone their feelings or beliefs.” That’s really true. You have to respect the other person and let them know that you care and respect them, or else the relationship could hit some really rocky roads.

Trust is a huge thing in a relationship. The more serious a relationship gets, the more trust is important, too. That’s why it can make or break a relationship in those later years. “One of the foundational feelings necessary in a good relationship is a feeling of security,” Verywellmind.com says. “If you lack emotional support or find your partner unreliable, you might lose trust.”

You totally have to be able to communicate with your partner. They can’t read your mind. Even if you’re been in a relationship for a long time, a simple “thank you so much” means a lot. Always make sure to let your partner know how much you appreciate the little, and big, things. It goes a long way. Not being grateful could even lead to a breakup.

Arguing about money is really common in relationships. It’s also a big reason why some couples can’t make it work. Maybe your partner loves to spend money on luxuries, and you’re a penny-pinching type. That’s an issue. “Differences over money is one of the top reasons for marital dissolution.
