Vodka That Tastes Like a Raspberry Paczki?? You Can Get Some Today!!
It’s the combination we never knew we needed til now!
Just in time for Fat Tuesday, Detroit City Distillery in Eastern Market will release their Paczki Day Vodka!
Each batch uses 18-dozen freshly baked raspberry paczki from Hamtramck’s New Palace Bakery, which are then soaked in 100% Polish potato vodka for 24 hours. The result is a buttery, raspberry spirit that clocks in at about 88-proof, or 44% alcohol, and can be enjoyed over ice, used in a cocktail, or, as a paczki chaser!
This year, they’re also offering bottled cocktails featuring the specially flavored vodka. Like the Polish Daisy, which is made with Paczki Day Vodka, vanilla simple syrup, Cocchi Americano and lemon juice!
Customers who purchase their spirits online starting today, Feb. 1st, will be able to pick up their bottles curbside outside of Detroit City Distillery’s Tasting Room at 2462 Riopelle St., Detroit. Paczki Day Vodka will also be available at select Detroit-area liquor stores.
The tasty adult beverage will be available until the limited-edition run sells out. Last year, the Distillery sold out of their 1200 bottles in under five hours!
