The internet had a field day after The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV Halftime Show performance and it’s exactly what we didn’t know we needed in 2021.
The over-the-top performance did not include guest stars, collaborations, or covers but it was 15 minutes’ worth of ideal material for memes.
The Weeknd performed some of his biggest hits including “Can’t Feel My Face,” “Starboy,” and “Blinding Lights.” He moved from a classic stage setup to a disconcerting mirrored maze where it looked as if he was searching for someone or something.
