Free Infant Swim Lessons in West Bloomfield
Looking for free infant swim lessons near West Bloomfield? We’ve got you covered.
As we mentioned on Shannon’s Scoop today, May is water safety month. Did you know the leading cause of accidental death for children under 4 is drowning? According to the CDC, every year in the United States there are an estimated 11 unintentional drowning deaths per day. And 22 non-fatal unintentional drownings per day. “Children ages 1–4 have the highest drowning rates. Most drownings in children 1–4 happen in swimming pools. Drowning can happen even when children are not expected to be near water, such as when they gain unsupervised access to pools. “
