Destiny’s Child: Is A Reunion In The Works (And Why Is This A Rumor)?
Rumors on social media have swirled on whether a reunion between one of the greatest R&B girls groups of the early 2000s, Destiny’s Child, will be reuniting in the future.
A well-known fan account that goes by @yoncearchives, which has no affiliation to the actual group, posted an update of the group’s social media page.
“Destiny’s Child, the group formed by Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle, changed the header of their Twitter and Facebook account,” the account tweeted.

However, Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father, who is still the official manager of the since broken up group featuring Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams told TMZ that, “As of right now there are no plans for the group to reunite, make an album, tour or do anything of the sort.”
He adds that the response of Destiny’s Child’s potential comeback is great and he will take it into account in the future. It’s worth mentioning that he’s the group’s manager but they haven’t done anything since Beyonce fired him as her manager, and it’s unlikely that even if she does reunite with Destiny’s Child, she’d keep him as the group’s manager.
Beyoncé did disclose that there is “music on the way” in a recent interview with Harpers Bazaar and that she has “been in the studio for a year and a half”, but from the looks of it it will most likely be solo.
