Does The “Bridge to Canada” Sign Give You Anxiety?

It’s the sign that has gotten people trapped at the border because one wrong turn can land you in another country.

Recently, a Detroit journalist tweeted about her close call with the U.S.-Canada border crossing.

There was more than 9800 retweets and tons of comments with plenty of others who made the same mistake.

I actually tried to go over to Windsor during the pandemic. My fiance and I are vaxxed, but did not have a negative covid test and they pulled us in a room to turn us around. The crazy part is that we were in the same room with a couple that didn’t even mean to go to Canada and they took the wrong turn! Yikes!

You’re not in any real trouble if you make this mistake but it will take up at least an hour of your night being questioned and your car searched.
