Chlöe Bailey Drops ‘Pray It Away’ Ahead Of Her Solo Debut LP
Ahead of Chlöe Bailey’s solo debut album, she’s giving fans a little taste of what’s to come with her latest single “Pray It Away.”
“Pray It Away” finds Chlöe regretting a previous relationship and wanting to focus on healing. “I get it, I get it, I get it/I just wanna hear from a…/Just start healin’/Now when I hear his name, I get more triggered/My feelings, my feelings, my feelings/They really got hurt and I want better/Oh I, I waste this time for nothin’/I faked it for nothin’,” she sings.
Chlöe followed the single release with a visual that shows the singer in a church dressed in white with candles surrounding as she prays to heal from the relationship. She posted a preview of the visual to her Instagram on Thursday (Jan. 26).
“Pray It Away” is just part of Chlöe’s rollout for her upcoming debut solo LP. The singer is set to release In Pieces sometime in March. An exact date for the album has not yet been announced.
Chlöe previously spoke to Billboard about what this solo journey means to her.
“It’s everything that I’ve been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of those things have gone into the music,” Chlöe previously explained of her upcoming solo LP to the publication. “The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
“Pray It Away” follows a string of songs Chlöe has released in anticipation of her solo debut. She has previously shared “Treat Me,” “Surprise,” and her solo debut single “Have Mercy.”
