Nicki Minaj Joins Ice Spice On ‘Princess Diana’ Remix
Barbz and Spice cadets rejoice, the Queen and the People’s Princess have linked up. Nicki Minaj joined Ice Spice on her “Princess Diana” remix. The original is found on the Bronx native’s debut EP Like…? In the video, Spice and Nicki are getting all dolled up in a pink room and twerking like there’s no tomorrow.
Nicki and Spice’s budding relationship seemingly began when the Pink Friday creator echoed Dazed Magazine’s title for the rising artist dubbing the Bronx emcee the “Princess of Rap.”
Nicki Minaj reposted Ice Spice’s cover on Twitter and her Instagram story, emphasizing Dazed’s headline. “Gag. The People’s PRINCESS. catch it!!!” she wrote.

Nicki also showed love to the Bronx rapper in the comment section of Ice Spice’s post on Instagram of the magazine cover.
“Btchs slow so I gih dem a pass. Nah. Grah! No more passes Princess… Let’s go,” the Pink Friday creator rapper wrote, referencing lyrics from Ice Spice’s song “Princess Diana” and foreshadowing their collab.

Ice previously spoke about how Nicki Minaj is an inspiration for her, so this is truly a full-circle moment for the Bronx native. In an interview with XXL in January, she said: “When I saw Nicki, I was so mesmerized. She’s the first female rapper that I seen. And ever since then, I was kinda set on what I wanted to be.”
The “Princess of Rap” has just gotten started. She revealed that she has new music on the way. “I’m going to have 10 songs, something like that or whatever,” she said during an interview per Insider in January. “[It’s] definitely going to be different vibes in there, for sure. I don’t want to talk too much on it because, you feel me? But gotta keep the secret sauce a secret.”
