Summer may be winding down, but the evening weather still allows for some outdoor nightlife. Enjoy Travel recently recognized the best rooftop bars in America and a Detroit establishment made the list.

The main reason most patrons visit a rooftop bar is because of the view, as opposed to a particular menu item. The outdoor section has a firepit, while the indoor atmosphere is covered in tones of red, blue, and gold. As far as the views go, Enjoy Travel explains the this Detroit establishment that ranked as one of the best rooftop bars in the country is, “set in a restored neo-gothic Metropolitan, the terrace offers incredible views over downtown Detroit.”
The Monarch Club is available for private events. In addition, they feature a light food menu that includes items like crab cakes, brisket sliders, and sausage and pear flatbreads.
